Throughout her early 20s, she left Canada multiple times to pursue her scientific and artistic education in the world. She had studied at the University of Geneva as an exchange student, following her summer internship with the ATLAS Experiment of CERN in 2014. After her bachelor's study in physics in 2017, she had stepped on her truth-seeking journey in the inner world and completed her first 10-day Vipassana meditation course in Montbello, Quebec. She had devoted part of her career creating “Inner Art”, a language expression of emotion and its relations to the cosmos. She sees the dance of art and science in her creation as the embodiment of her cultural fluidity between the mythical Chinese and the western-scientific way.

During her Master's study between 2018 and 2019, she had actively involved herself working in collaboration with scientists and scientific institutes as an artist and designer. Charlotte’s IDE course work had competed at the semi-final of Venture Catalyst Challenge (VCC) of Imperial College London and was exhibited at the Molecular Sciences Research Hub (MSRH) in 2019. Charlotte was the design-science ambassador from CERN between 2018 to 2019, serving as a liaison and facilitator at the Grand Challenge Collaboration with the RCA School of Design. Additionally, Charlotte has also worked with Bell Labs in Cambridge as an information designer in 2019, as well as been invited to collaborate with scientists at the University of Edinburgh and Campus Biotech in Geneva, Switzerland.
